The first website starts at the very beginning. Starfall is a great website that opened its windows in September of 2002. While this is where Starfall started, today it also includes some English and math work for students as well.
One of the best things about Starfall is it’s free! But you can pay for a membership and get extras like animated songs, mathematics, and more reading activities.

Another great reading website is KidsReads. KidsReads goes beyond just reading a book and introduces your student to articles, book reviews, and author biographies. This great website will introduce your students to a variety of topics and can even introduce them to a new favorite author.

Another great hidden feature of this website is while it is a website that wants to visited, it also encourages students to step away from the screen and learn which makes this website a great website to help students learn.

While reading and science sometimes rule the roost, you can’t count out math. Math, another part of the STEM family, is an important skill to work on whenever possible.
