Alphabet Activity Wheels – Beginning Sounds

Do you want a fun and engaging literacy center for your students in Kindergarten and grade one? These alphabet wheels are a great year-round center to have at the ready for fast finishers, literacy centers, review with a parent or as an indoor recess activity!

Simply print onto cardstock, laminate and provide clothespins and you have a fantastic year-long literacy center! * If you want these to have an answer key – simply place a sticker or mark on the backside of the wheel before you laminate so that students can turn their wheel over and self-check their work.

Students take the alphabet wheel and are tasked to place a clothespin onto each word that begins with the letter indicated in the middle of the wheel. If you placed stickers or marks on the back before laminating students can then turn them over and check their work!
