Do you want a fun and hands-on unit to teach Materials, objects, and everyday structures? This unit fits into the Understanding Structures and Mechanisms curriculum in Ontario and is full of fun and engaging activities for little learners!
- This resource contains a PowerPoint slide(s) and a lesson plan for each lesson. There are extension activities as well as discussion questions provided in these lesson plans. Most lessons also have task card questions and discussion starters, posters and some have pocket chart cards too!
- Each lesson shows the curriculum outcomes met with the lesson.
- MOST lessons have extension activities and a few have STEM challenges.
- There is a section on report card comments where a sample comment is provided and I have included my data tracking sheet to show you how I track and assess to collect data and integrate it into the report card comment.
